FALL COED SOFTBALL
Sundays, mid August through October
#LE1017
After a two-year hiatus, RSOC coed softball is returning for the Fall 2010 season! Our goal is to play the game and have fun without worrying about skill levels, league standings, batting averages, or even having to show up each Sunday! Teams are chosen “at random” each week; and after the game, some folks wander off to a nearby watering hole for some socializing, and a bite to eat.
We provide the balls and bats. Having your own glove is nice; but not necessary (just “borrow one” from someone on the opposing team). The Fall season is 10 weeks long, and the fee includes a season-end picnic.
The details about the location and cost are still being worked out; but, we do know this:
Location: Softball field somewhere in Raleigh
Start time: 4:30 p.m.
End time: 6:00 p.m.
Meeting time: 4:00 p.m. (for warm-ups)
Event fee member: Approximately $15.00 to $20.00
Event fee non-member: Approximately $25.00 to $30.00
Maximum participants: 50
Coordinators: Rick Carter and Jim Quitmeyer (Questions? For now, contact Shirley Clemmensenfrankclem@toast.net919/683-5552)
